Post Office appoints Royal London to grow its Life offering

Post Office Money has taken a major step in growing its life business by appointing Royal London as its new life insurance partner.

Working with Royal London will enable Post Office Money Life Insurance to improve its existing range of products, develop new ones and simplify application processes for customers. In addition, an immediate decision will be given as to whether their policy has been accepted across the product range.

Today’s announcement will put in place the foundations on which the business can accelerate its growth in the future by expanding access to new products across all channels, including additional digital ones.

Rob Clarkson, Managing Director Post Office Money Insurance said: “Through our new partnership with Royal London, we are developing products that offer our customers more choice in how they are protected. New and improved products will be accessible in selected Post Office branches, through our UK based call centre and online. Through working with Royal London we have been able to simplify the application process, making it even easier for customers to find the right policy to meet their needs.”

Over the past 18 months Post Office Money Insurance has been investing in all aspects of its insurance business including developing its own customer support centre.
