Post Office Money today announces the launch of its brand new 5* Car Insurance product for the over 50s. This new product, available in branch, online and by phone, marks the latest addition to the business’ growing range of celebrated financial services products.
The new product was developed as a result of research conducted by Post Office Money amongst the over 50s market who sighted extra cover for vandalism, uninsured drivers, child car seats, personal belongings, the provision of alternative transport or accommodation as key elements when purchasing car insurance.
The new product offering includes:
- Uninsured driver protection – no claims discount and excess protected following a non-fault accident
- Vandalism promise – no claims bonus and excess protected following a vandalism claim
- £150 of child car seat cover for parents and grandparents
- £250 to cover hotel expenses or alternative accommodation or £250 to cover alternative transport costs
