Post Office updated statement on 'Capture'

Following the Post Office statement on 8 February this year on the ‘Capture’ system, in relation to allegations of prosecutions and whether shortfalls could have been caused by faults in this software, the Department of Business and Trade (DBT) has now commissioned Kroll, a leading independent provider of risk and financial advisory solutions, to undertake the investigations into the Capture system and we are providing support to this work including providing details of our own investigative work.

If you have any information on Capture and would like to provide this, please send directly to Kroll using the following email address: Kroll.DBT.Contact@Kroll.com

The Department of Business and Trade have confirmed that Kroll will be carrying out their investigation over the summer and will report back to them in the Autumn. The Department will then publish the results of their investigation.
