Post Office appoints new Group Chief People Officer

Post Office has announced the appointment of Jane Davies as Group Chief People Officer who will join the business on Thursday 1 December.

Jane has significant experience working in large scale and complex organisations in Human Resources leadership roles, most recently at McKesson UK (which includes the Lloyds Pharmacy and AAH businesses) where she was the Chief People Officer and a statutory Board Director.

Since 2013, Jane has held board level Group HR Director positions, implementing the people strategy for large scale FTSE organisations, including Wincanton plc and Galliford Try plc. Earlier in her career, Jane held the position as HR Director for the Spirit Group (part of Punch Taverns, including both managed and leasehold).

Jane has considerable expertise in leading the people agenda in complex and community based businesses, as well as heading up large scale cultural and technology based transformation programmes. She is passionate about diversity, inclusion and sustainability and has a driven step-change in these areas throughout her career.
